Ernesto Fundora Hernández (La Habana, Cuba, 1967) is a film director, screen writer and creative writer of great sensitivity. He has presented his work in many international festivals, including Baja California, Roxbury Boston, Ciudad Juárez, Montreal, Colorado, Vladivostok, Guadalajara, Hoboken, Georgia, Mill Valley, Short Shorts, Brownfish, NYC Indie, Bahamas, Miami, Crystal Screen, Jaipur, Berlin, Havana, Marselle, among others. He has directed and produced over 90 music videos for major transnational record companies and famous Hispanic music artists such as Celia Cruz, Alejandra Guzmán, Willy Chirino, La India, Francisco Céspedes, Azul Violeta, Carlos Varela, Olga Tañón, David Torrens, Oscar D León, Albita Rodríguez, Amaury Pérez, Pandora, Jerry Rivera, and Santiago Feliú. In his career as a writer, he has published El perpetuo envés (short stories, 1996) and the collection of poems Amago (2002). In addition to contributing to cultural magazines, he has shared his knowledge in more than 50 universities in Latin America and the US through courses, workshops, and lectures.

In 1996 he founded an audiovisual company in Mexico City, Video Vueltas Producciones SA, which offers transmedia services to a diverse portfolio of clients from the cultural industries.

He currently lives in Mexico City, where he is currently working on the production of his first long fiction film (Baches) and his first novel (Propulsión a chorro).
